Return Your Cooking Oil Recycling Container

Do you have leftover cooking oil at home that is ready to be turned in?

Cooking oil station at neighborhood center

Cooking oil containers can be dropped off at specified city community centers to be recycled. The City of Orlando converts this oil into bio-diesel.

Residents who recycle cooking oil help to keep it out of the landfill. Recycling your cooking oil can also:

  • Prevents blockages in sewer lines.
  • Reduce expensive maintenance to the sewer system.
  • Prevent sanitary sewer overflows.

Step 1.Fill up your cooking oil jug

After cooking, safely pour it into a shatterproof container. Fill up the jug with used, leftover cooking oil and do this over time. The jug does not need to be filled entirely to return it to the city.

Step 2.Drop off full jugs
