Purchase a Cemetery Plot

Step 2.Select your payment option

All plots must be paid in full before the service arrangement is selected.

• Option 1 - Purchase plot immediately. You must pay in full to purchase the space of your choice.
• Option 2 - Purchase plot ahead of time. The following payment options are available to this choice:
  1. Pay in full.
  2. Pay 10% first and then pay the balance within 60 days with no finance charges.
  3. Pay 10% and then pay the balance in 12 monthly installments with a 12% interest.

Step 4.Gather necessary materials

You will need to gather:

• Your proof of identification (government ID with photo and current mailing address).
• Your proof of residency (utility bills and a rental/lease agreement that reflects one year of residency before the plot purchase).
• Your form of payment preference. We accept checks, debit and credit cards. Please make any checks or money orders payable to: City of Orlando.

Step 5.Schedule an appointment

Contact us at 407.246.2615 anytime Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to schedule your appointment.

The in-person appointment will take place at:

Step 6.Attend your appointment

While you are at Greenwood Cemetery, you will:

• Select available plot.
• Provide your proof of residency.
• Complete necessary purchasing documents.

If you wish to pre-pay for a Greenwood Cemetery plot (no immediate use), you will provide your first payment during this time. Depending on your options, any subsequent payments can be made here.

Step 7.Receive your deed

Once payment for the plot is paid in full, a deed to the property will be issued by the City and mailed to the address on file.

Please note: Placing memorials on a space is not allowed until the plot has been paid in full.
