Reserve a Pool

Do you want to reserve a City of Orlando pool?

The City of Orlando offers pool rentals for special events.

Keep in mind: All our pools are outdoor pools.

How Much Does It Cost?

  • $100 Refundable Damage/Clean-up Deposit
  • $50 per hour (minimum 3 hour rental)
  • $15 per hour per lifeguard (minimum 3 lifeguards per hour)
  • General liability insurance is required and is not refundable. It must be provided at time of rental or purchased through the city. Cost varies depending on the number of attendees.

Step 1.Gather your information

To request a reservation, we'll need:

  • Date and time of your event
  • Number of people (must be 100 or less)
  • Insurance information (you can provide your own, or buy through us)

If your organization is tax-exempt, we'll need a copy of your certificate.

Keep in mind: No alcohol is allowed at city pools.

Step 2.See the list of pools available for rental

We have 11 outdoor pools throughout the city:

  • four year-round pools
  • seven seasonal pools open June - August

Step 3.Let us know which pool you are interested in

Pools are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend you contact us at least two weeks before your event.

Step 4.We will contact you within 48 hours

Once we find a reservation date that works for you, we'll send you a contract.

Step 5.Return your contract

Email your contract to denise.moore@orlando.gov for final approval and a payment link.

Step 6.Confirm your reservation date by making a payment 

Your reservation is not final until you pay in full.

You can pay online or by phone. You can also come in-person to either your reserved pool or the Recreation Admin Office:

Step 7.If you need it, request a loudspeaker permit

If your event will have loud music or a DJ, you'll need a loudspeaker permit.

Step 8.Arrive at the pool on your reserved date and enjoy

Please bring the rental contract and your ID with you so staff can verify.

Step 9.Receive your damage deposit

We will send you your refundable deposit if there were no damages.

Cancellations

  • All rentals must be paid in full at time of booking
  • Rentals must be canceled at least 72 hours prior to event to receive a refund
