Find out how the City of Orlando categorizes property into zoning districts and how these categories indicate how property can be used and developed.
Orlando city code covers property located within city limits. Check to see if your property is in Orlando and how it's zoned using the property locator below.
How to use the property locator:
Important: If your property is outside of city limits, please visit the Orange County Property Appraiser to find the property's jurisdiction and zoning district. You'll find the information under the “Info” and “Land” tabs.

Important: This information only indicates allowed uses. To develop your property, you will need to comply with other city codes, such as sufficient parking, green space and building setbacks, before requesting building permits. Planning staff, public review boards and City Council may also have to review your plans. Please contact the Planner on Call at 407.246.2269 Option 1 for more information.
